What is ROI?

Return on Investment (ROI) measures the profitability of an investment relative to its cost. It is expressed as a percentage: (Final Value - Initial Investment) / Initial Investment x 100.

How to calculate ROI

Enter what you invested and what the investment is worth now. The calculator shows the percentage return and the dollar amount gained or lost. A positive ROI means you made money. A negative ROI means you lost money.
